Hey this looks super fun but I'm not great at working out instructions. How DOOM works and how you cast the spell I can't quite work out. I'm hoping for an actual play or how to video?
I just interpreted it as the player needing 3 components to cast a spell, the GM rates how good those components are and gives 1-3 d6 per component (more dice is better). The player then rolls the dice and you interpret the result as written with the width and height of the roll.
(I find with these games it's best just to decide on an interpretation and then go from there, adapting if you need to.)
